We don’t know where internet is going to be in 20 years from now, and even the smartest guys can’t preciously predict it, but what we now is that currently it is in its an upward trajectory, each day attracting more and more people into its “web”. Yea, that’s right, into the web. But what all of those people are doing online? The majority of people are actually doing nothing; they are checking their social networking accounts for tens times a day, writing their friends, reading newspaper, watching funny videos and similar things.

Now the question is why mentioning them at all? Simply because there is a measure for a pleasure. A small amount of those who are not just a regular fly in a spider's web, are actually knitting this web for the others. Motivation for each one of us is different, some of us are doing it for pleasure as well, and some are doing it for the money! And we belong to another handful group of people comparing to the previous one, which is called publishers.

Publishing can be really simple, just like I am doing it right now at this very moment. Register an account on Webnode, give a name to my blog, write some content, and without previous knowledge of programming, my thoughts are already online with a hit of a button. Easy. Even to easy.

But there is another thing, my site is interesting, have well written content, share valuable information, yet it has an extension which other sites doesn’t have. Look at the URL https://vps-hosting-review.webnode.com/. Yea, that’s tight, my site finishes with .com, but there is Webnode in between my desired name and that .com.

What does it means? We came to the point. Webnode is an blogging platform which offers its users free hosting for their thoughts, but in exchange it puts its own extension behind the desired name. This extension is called subdomain. In addition there are dozens of those platforms where you can publish your thoughts for free. I personally love this one, and that’s why I am here (captain obvious).

What happens if you don’t want this subdomain in your URL? If you don’t want it, you can simply buy domain name at some of the reliable sellers such are Namecheap or GoDaddy, and pay some amount of cash to host your site on platforms like this, while using their interface. Or, if you want to make custom site, than you will have to buy one more thing. Web hosting.

What is the purpose of web hosting? The purpose of web hosting is to host data of your custom made site on server and make it visible online. Servers are highly adjusted computer machines that are running the entire internet. Every single page you visit online, every single video you watch, every single bit of information is hosted on a server. So, without web hosting internet would be impossible.

Now when you understand the background of the internet, let me tell you what this site is about. This site is about all possible hosting solutions, types, providers, plans, operating systems, software, prices and reviews. Everything you need to know about web hosting, you will find on the pages of this blog.
